Bright one is a volunteer-run communications agency for the third sector. I have been a member of Bright One, volunteering my time on the Sreepur Cards project since September 2009. Last week we held our Annual General Meeting to celebrate the success of 2010.

Bright one, founded by Ben Matthews is run by volunteers and led by experience communication professionals. The concept is unique – doing something for a good cause. Bright One makes public relations possible for third sector organisations who can’t afford a commercial agency. In return, volunteers get practical experience and experienced consultants get to do some good by giving something back to the community. It really is a win-win situation.

Thanks for the kind words, Selena, and thanks for all your hard work on the Sreepur Cards campaign. We’ll have to get a great case study for next year’s Annual Report!
